Nolan Allaer

After sitting out the last four races, Nolan Allaer will return to HMD Motorsports for the INDY NXT by Firestone season finale Sept. 14-15 at Nashville Superspeedway.

Initially planning to focus solely on road and street courses for the 2024 season, Allaer is set to make his oval debut on the 1.33-mile concrete oval.

“I am eager and excited to make my oval debut this weekend at the Nashville Superspeedway,” Allaer said. “I had a test of the ovals at the Milwaukee Mile test earlier this year and loved it. When the opportunity to get behind the wheel was made available, it was a quick decision to return to the grid.”

Allaer, who began the season in the No. 11 Martini-branded machine, will switch to the No. 10 HMD Motorsports entry for the final event, taking over the seat vacated by Reece Gold. Martini will continue as the primary partner on his car this weekend.

“The goal is to return to the grid full time in 2025, and this is the perfect opportunity to gain some valuable oval laps,” Allaer said.

Series rookie Allaer has scored two top-10 finishes in nine starts this season with HMD, including a best result of eighth July 7 at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course.
