Kentucky Speedway will host the Firestone Indy Lights for the ninth time with the Drive Smart. Buckle-UP Kentucky 100.
The 1.5-mile oval is one of two circuits -- along with Chicagoland Speedway -- that has hosted Firestone Indy Lights races in every season since the series was formed under Indy Racing League sanction in 2002.
Sam Schmidt Motorsports has won three races at Kentucky -- most of any Firestone Indy Lights team.

The 1.5-mile D-shaped oval has led to exciting racing year in and year out with its sweeping turns (14 degrees banking) and wide (70 feet) racing surface. The speedway has undergone a makeover since October 2010, adding seats and camping spaces. The lone difference to the racetrack is moving the pit lane closer to the main grandstand.
