Race review
Will Power became the first repeat winner of the event's seven years at Infineon Raceway. The Team Penske driver started from the pole for the second consecutive year and led a 1-2-3 Penske finish.
Dario Franchitti, who won in 2009, and Target Chip Ganassi Racing teammate Scott Dixon was fifth. BOX SCORE
In 13 seasons, three drivers have won the 13th race of the season and also won the championship. Sam Hornish Jr. won at Texas in 2001, Dan Wheldon won at Pikes Peak in 2005 and Scott Dixon won at Edmonton in 2008.
Fun fact
While most people believe that Lombard Street in nearby San Francisco is the crookestest in the city, it's actually not. Vermont Avenue between 22nd and 23rd streets has a "sinuosity" of 1.56 (versus Lombard's 1.2).

The natural-terrain course has it all to challenge drivers -- elevation changes, a tight right-hand Turn 12 leading onto the frontstretch, a Carousel turn that requires downshifting -- all packed into a scenic setting.
