Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Terrell Owens will catch the “IZOD Fastest Seat in Sports” when he helps pace the 27-car Kentucky Indy 300 field on Sept. 4 at Kentucky Speedway.

Owens will climb into a custom-built, two-seat IZOD IndyCar Series machine and ride along with two-time Indianapolis 500 winner Arie Luyendyk before the green flag waves for the 200th event in series history.

Owens, a member of the Cincinnati Bengals, has amassed impressive statistics through his 14 National Football League seasons. He has 1,006 receptions for 14,951 yards and 144 receiving touchdowns through 205 combined games with the San Francisco 49ers, Philadelphia Eagles, Dallas Cowboys and Buffalo Bills. Owens appeared in Super Bowl XXXIX with Philadelphia in 2004.
