Bio

Adam Carroll's driving ability for Team Ireland in the A1 GP World Cup of Motorsports caught the attention of Michael Andretti, chairman, president and CEO of Andretti Autosport. He won the 2008-09 championship.

The team announced in April that it had signed Carroll to compete in limited events in the IZOD IndyCar Series' second half of the 2010 season. He debuted at Watkins Glen International.

After starting in karting, Carroll found quick success in cars with nine victories and 12 podium finishes in 24 Formula Renault Campus France races in 1999. He steadily progressed through European formulas.
