Bio

Getting to the IZOD IndyCar Series actually started at age of 8 for Mike Conway when he raced at Rye House in Hertfordshire, England.

Since that time, Conway's racing path has taken him to the Formula A British Karting Champion, the Formula Renault Champion (2004) and the top British driver in the British Formula 3 Series, where he was third in 2005 with Fortec Motorsport.

After making stops in 2006 in the British F3 International Series, where he dominated the championship and won the title with three races left in the season. It was also during this year that he won the Macau Grand Prix, becoming the first British driver to do so since 1999.

It was up to the GP2 Series in 2007 with Super Nova Racing. He was also signed up to Honda F1 Racing as one of their test drivers and in 2008 Conway remained in GP2 but switched to Trident Racing. At Monaco, he had his first 2008 podium with a first place in the sprint race - a race which he led from start to finish.

That brought him to the United States in 2009 with Dreyer & Reinbold Racing.
