Scott Goodyear outlasted the field in a race of attrition to capture his second win at Michigan International Speedway in three years. Nigel Mansell, Michael Andretti, Raul Boesel and Al Unser Jr. took turns leading early, but none was around at the finish when Goodyear won in the Budweiser King Lola/Ford owned by Kenny Bernstein.
