Ed Carpenter Racing
Ed Carpenter Racing (ECR) will enter its 14th NTT INDYCAR SERIES season in 2025, with nearly 400 race starts. Led by Ed Carpenter, the only owner/driver in the field, the team won its first race in 2012. Carpenter, a hometown favorite from Indianapolis, earned back-to-back pole positions for the Indianapolis 500 in 2013 and 2014.
After expanding to two full-time entries in 2015 and returning to full ownership in 2016, ECR has since fielded three cars for the Indy 500. Carpenter earned his third pole in 2018 and led the most laps, finishing runner-up. The team has qualified at least one car on the front row for nine of the last 11 years.
In 2025, 2016 Indy 500 winner Alexander Rossi will drive the No. 20, while 2023 INDY NXT champion Christian Rasmussen returns for a full season in the No. 21.
