INDYCAR continues celebrating 12 of the most memorable storylines from the 2014 Verizon IndyCar Series season with a 'Penske Perfect' sweep by Will Power and Helio Castroneves in the Chevrolet Indy Dual in Detroit at Belle Isle Park.

Belle Isle in Detroit, which was voted the top City for Sports in a USA Today online poll, hosts the annual Verizon IndyCar Series race. The 2015 race weekend is May 29-31.

Will Power has increased his championship points lead from one over Ryan Hunter-Reay following the Grand Prix of Indianapolis to 39 over Team Penske teammate Helio Castroneves entering the Houston doubleheader.

Charlie Kimball, driving the No. 83 Novo Nordisk Chip Ganassi Racing entry, advanced a total of 28 positions in the Chevrolet Indy Dual in Detroit presented by Quicken Loans doubleheader.

Stats and factoids following the Chevrolet Dual in Detroit presented by Quicken Loans on the 2.36-mile, 13-turn Belle Isle street course. Will Power and Team Penske teammate Helio Castroneves won the 70-lap races.

Much of the 2.36-mile Belle Isle circuit will be replaced with concrete for the Chevrolet-sponsored Verizon IndyCar Series event weekend in 2015. The 4 million dollar project begins in early July.

Helio Castroneves earned the victory in the second round of the Chevrolet Indy Dual in Detroit presented by QUicken Loans to complete a sweep for Team Penske. He's 19 points behind front-running teammate Will Power in the standings.
