EVTEC Group, a European leader in the design, manufacture and supply of complex automotive assemblies and components, including carbon and composites, has joined Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing (RLL) as full-season associate sponsor of the No. 30 Honda-powered entry for Devlin DeFrancesco and a primary sponsor of the entry for eight NTT INDYCAR SERIES per season in a multiyear deal.
EVTEC, which has been a sponsor of DeFrancesco’s racing programs since 2023, will be the primary sponsor of his entry at Barber Motorsports Park (April 13), the Sonsio Grand Prix at Indianapolis (May 10), Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge (May 25), Streets of Detroit (June 1), Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course (July 6), Portland (August 10), Milwaukee Mile (Aug. 24) and Nashville Superspeedway (Aug. 31).
“I’m so happy and thankful to the EVTEC Group and its founder and CEO David Roberts for believing in me, especially with their automotive and racing heritage and as they move forward with their U.S. expansion,” DeFrancesco said.
DeFrancesco, from Toronto, enters his third full season in the NTT INDYCAR SERIES but first with RLL. He drove for Andretti Steinbrenner Autosport in the 2022 and 2023 seasons after he climbed from INDY NXT by Firestone, INDYCAR’s development series.
“Automotive is truly a global business, and I am delighted that EVTEC will be part of a winning team as we expand our footprint and reach into the USA to serve our premium customers,” EVTEC Group Chairman David Roberts said.
Said RLL co-owner Bobby Rahal: “We take pride in our efforts to help our partners grow their business and look forward to helping EVTEC grow their already impressive client list.”
EVTEC’s client list includes top brands such as Jaguar, Land Rover, Ford, Aston Martin, McLaren, Bentley, AMG Petronas Motorsport, Haas F1 Team, Mercedes Benz, Alpine F1 Team, Williams F1 and Singer Vehicle Designs, among others. For more information, visit www.evtec-group.com.
