Meyer Shank Racing’s 2025 lineup for the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship endurance events, including the Rolex 24 At Daytona, will have a distinct NTT INDYCAR SERIES pedigree.
INDYCAR SERIES champions Scott Dixon and Alex Palou will race for MSR in all WeatherTech SportsCar Championship endurance events next season, including the TireRack.com Battle on the Bricks on Sept. 19-21 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. MSR NTT INDYCAR SERIES driver Felix Rosenqvist will compete in the Rolex 24 At Daytona for the team.
Chip Ganassi Racing INDYCAR SERIES driver Dixon and Rosenqvist will join full-season MSR sports car drivers Tom Blomqvist and Colin Braun behind the wheel of the No. 60 Acura MSR Acura ARX-06 at the Rolex 24 on Jan. 25-26 at Daytona International Speedway, as Dixon seeks his fifth Rolex 24 victory. Dixon, Blomqvist and Braun will drive that prototype machine in all other IMSA endurance races.
“I’m really looking forward to running the Rolex this year,” Dixon said. “I have almost joined Meyer Shank Racing and (team owner) Mike (Shank) a couple times in the past, but it didn’t work out.
“I’m really excited to join Acura MSR, and their partnership with HRC makes it easier, there are a lot of familiar faces and people that I have worked with over the years. That’s also true on the Meyer Shank side, as well, with a lot of people who I have worked with earlier in my career. A lot of familiar faces on the driver side, too, with Felix, Tom, Colin, and obviously I was teammates last year with Renger (van der Zande), so I’m really looking forward to that side of it.”
Said Rosenqvist: “It’s a dream come true for me to race at the Rolex and in the top category. It’s a very natural fit as I’m racing for the same team and manufacturer as my ‘daytime job,’ and I know all my teammates really well. It’s a big project, and I’m doing my best to be as prepared as possible.”
Chip Ganassi Racing INDYCAR SERIES driver Palou will serve as endurance driver of the No. 93 Acura MSR Acura ARX-06 and pair with full-season drivers Renger van der Zande and Nick Yelloly.
Three-time and reigning NTT INDYCAR SERIES champion Palou and Rosenqvist are seeking their first Rolex 24 victories.
“I’m super excited about the opportunity to join Acura MSR and HRC for the IMSA endurance races next year,” Palou said. “It will be pretty cool to work with some of the drivers that I know very well and to see what we can do at the Rolex in January. I have to thank Mike and HRC for this opportunity, and I’m ready to get going in Daytona.”
