There will be drama in nearly every scene of episode four of Season 2 of “100 Days to Indy,” premiering at 9 p.m. ET Friday, May 17 on The CW Network.

This episode will feature the exciting Children’s of Alabama Indy Grand Prix Powered by AmFirst on April 28 at Barber Motorsports Park, won by Scott McLaughlin of Team Penske.

That triumph came at the end of a week in which Team Penske was determined to have violated series Push to Pass rules at the season-opening Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg presented by RP Funding. McLaughlin and teammate Josef Newgarden were disqualified, with Newgarden losing his victory.

Newgarden’s emotional press conference before the Barber race will be featured in tonight’s episode, along with Team Penske’s Will Power opening up about the life-threatening illness that his wife, Liz, suffered between the 2022 and 2023 seasons.

In a more lighthearted moment, Power also will discuss his friendship with legendary rapper Flava Flav.

The six-part unscripted series from Penske Entertainment takes viewers behind the scenes and onto the track with the NTT INDYCAR SERIES drivers as they prepare to compete for racing’s greatest prize: the Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge on Sunday, May 26 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
