Théo Pourchaire will continue to drive the No. 6 NTT DATA Arrow McLaren Chevrolet in the Children’s of Alabama Indy Grand Prix powered by AmFirst on Sunday, April 28 at Barber Motorsports Park.
Pourchaire, from France, made his NTT INDYCAR SERIES debut April 21 at the Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach, finishing 11th after qualifying 22nd, the largest advance of any of the 27 drivers in the field. He will again join Arrow McLaren teammates Pato O’Ward and Alexander Rossi at Barber.
Reigning FIA Formula 2 champion Pourchaire, 20, is substituting for David Malukas, who continues to recover from surgery to repair injuries to his left wrist suffered in a preseason mountain biking accident.
Live coverage of the race at Barber starts at 1 p.m. ET Sunday, April 28 on NBC, Peacock, INDYCAR LIVE and the INDYCAR Radio Network.
