Marcus Ericsson will be a driver to watch toward the back of the field in the GMR Grand Prix this afternoon at Indianapolis Motor Speedway after he led the final warmup this morning.
Ericsson’s top time was 1 minute, 11.0839 seconds in the No. 8 Huski Chocolate Chip Ganassi Racing on the 14-turn, 2.439-mile road course. Ericsson is starting 18th in the 85-lap race, which takes the green flag at 3:07 p.m. (ET) today.

Rookie Callum Ilott continued his impressive weekend by ending up second in the morning warmup, turning a top lap of 1:11.1970 in the No. 77 Juncos Hollinger Racing Chevrolet. Ilott will start seventh.
Felix Rosenqvist was third at 1:11.2391 in the No. 7 Vuse Arrow McLaren SP Chevrolet, followed by Colton Herta at 1:11.2552 in the No. 26 Gainbridge Honda. Jack Harvey rounded out the top five at 1:11.2630 in the No. 45 Hy-Vee Honda.
NTT P1 Award winner Will Power was ninth-quickest at 1:11.4339 in the No. 12 Verizon Team Penske Chevrolet.
