INDYCAR Fast Six: What's trending in @INDYCAR from June 14-20
JUN 21, 2017
INDYCAR's "Fast Six" is a report derived from all things found online about Verizon IndyCar Series racing, its drivers and people. We seek and find pics and quips as INDYCAR drivers live their extraordinary lives and put the evidence on Twitter, Instagram and more. Check back regularly when we post the latest.
Big daddies
INDYCAR’s daddy drivers tugged at our heart strings on Father’s Day by posting pictures with their children. We’re surprised Ryan Hunter-Reay and his three mini-mes didn’t break the internet.
Big dog daddy
Father’s Day isn’t just for humans, according to Norman Pagenaud, Simon Pagenaud’s Jack Russell Terrier. Norman, who has his own Twitter account (@normanpagenaud), apparently presented his best friend with a nice pair of socks. Hopefully, he – Norman, not Simon – won’t wind up chewing on them.
For Father's Day I got my dad some socks with my face on them because he "knocks the socks off" all the other dog-dads! Happy Father's Day! pic.twitter.com/hBKGShbAFW

Vive la France!
Just because Scott Dixon and Tony Kanaan were in Le Mans, France, working last weekend doesn’t mean they didn’t save some time to enjoy the land of light and love. After all, the 24 Hours of Le Mans is only 24 hours.
Birthday beauty
Graham Rahal took to the internet to wish his wife, Courtney Force, a happy birthday. The beachy pic he posted reminds us of that time in 2013 when Force was featured in the ESPN the Magazine’s “Body Issue.”
Making a splash
Conor Daly is busy, catching softballs and making a big splash on NBC’s “American Ninja Warrior.” He clearly fared better in the annual Caroline Symmes Memorial Celebrity Softball Challenge, which raised money for the Indiana Children’s Wish Fund, than he did on “American Ninja Warrior,” where he fell off a rope and landed in a pool of water, fracturing two fingers.
As usual, Daly was funny about all of it on social media.
Tonight I caught a softball that was flying through the air. With a glove. after it was pitched by @TYHilton13 ... never thought Id say that

Axeman of INDYCAR
Canadian James Hinchliffe seemingly can’t hurl enough axes this summer. According to his Twitter feed, he was back at urban axe throwing club Bad Axe Throwing in Indianapolis for another round. On June 15, he brought his team along. Axe throwing is a “Canadian backyard pastime,” according to the business website, so we figure the activity reminds Hinch of home and makes him feel warm and fuzzy inside.
Another fun night @badaxethrowing! Don't mess with @SPMIndyCar, apparently we have some savages on the team! #LookingForAxeSponsorship pic.twitter.com/cLbhSLs4eP
