With the gift-giving season in full swing, the Internet reminds us that today is Cyber Monday, a day dedicated to staying home with your feet up and remembering loved ones by ordering their holiday offerings online. Presents will arrive, conveniently already boxed, at your front door, allowing you to feel smart and rested when you slide them under the tree.
That in mind, if there’s a Verizon IndyCar Series fan on your Cyber Monday list, look no further than the Racing Capital of the World and IMS.com for the present perfection.
Behold, the 12 Days of (high-octane) Christmas:
- It’s chilly in most INDYCAR race markets this time of year and, even if it’s not, everyone can use a great pair of socks. Keep their tootsies warm with a pair of Justin Wilson USWAG socks. Featuring the classic JW logo, his signature bright helmet colors and the Union Jack flag from his home country, the set honors Wilson’s legacy and his good-natured sportsmanship. $18, men’s sizes (but these are really unisex). Proceeds go to the Dyslexia Institute of Indiana.
- INDYCAR socks come in many colors and many drivers have their own version. So, the good news is, you can rep your favorite drivers by ordering two (or more) pairs. $18.
- Got a winner on your list? You can remind them of the success with die-cast cars, like those driven by your favorite INDYCAR champions, but smaller. 2016 Verizon IndyCar Series champion Simon Pagenaud’s 1:18 car is available here for $65 (a smaller 1:64 version is $9). And, there are more where they come from, including die-casts of three-time Indianapolis 500 winner Helio Castroneves’ car and more.
- If cars aren’t the right thing, winning at holiday gift-giving can also mean a reminder of the rookie who won the 100th Running of the Indianapolis 500 presented by PennGrade Motor Oil. 2016 Indianapolis 500 winner Alexander Rossi was still stunned while holding the milk in Victory Circle. An IMS milk bottle memento of that monumental occasion can be ordered for $15 (Milk sold separately.).
- Although Season 23 of “Dancing with the Stars” has ended, with James Hinchcliffe and partner Sharna Burgess earning an impressive second-place finish, INDYCAR fans are still collecting “Vote for Hinch” SWAG. While they last, there are still a few women’s "Vote For Hinch" tanks and men’s "Vote For Hinch" T-shirts for $28 each. There are so few men’s shirts, though, that we’ll feel bad unless we show another option James Hinchcliffe T-Shirt highlighting his return to the track.
- If Hinchcliffe is your favorite driver, you aren’t alone. And there’s lots of merchandise to go along with his popularity. Another cool pick for the would-be Hinchtown citizen is the “Prince James,” hat, made in 2016 when he made a case to fans that he should become the first-ever 500 Festival prince. It’s available for $32.
- There’s plenty for the INDYCAR fan who can’t choose a favorite driver. INDYCAR tumblers, a chrome clock and a portable power bank ($18), so your phone will always be charged, are online for the buying.
- It’s tough to celebrate the holidays without spirits. If the racing enthusiast on your list also enjoys cocktails, why not gift a stylish way to combine the two with historic Indianapolis Motor Speedway glassware? Only 100 sets of each are available for $150 to $250, so get yours before they're gone.
- And if you’re giving Indianapolis Motor Speedway glasses, why not throw in a matching Indianapolis Motor Speedway decanter for another $30?
- All of that might seem a bit fussy if you’re a drinker of beer or other beverages that require refrigeration. In that case, race fans can keep beer, soda and almost anything else that needs a chill nice and cool with an IMS wing/wheel/flag mini fridge. It’s $600 and fits in home, dorm room or fan cave.
- If that’s a budget buster, but your race fan still needs a cold one, get a trendy, collapsible INDYCAR can cooler for $5.
- What to do when you get the perfect racing gifts wrapped and ready for giving? Add some Indianapolis Motor Speedway “to” and “from” gift tags, of course! $4.
One last present under the tree? For Cyber Monday only, INDYCAR Nation is having a special that's too good to pass up. If you join or renew your membership to INDYCAR Nation, you can purchase a second membership at 25% off.
