James Hinchcliffe’s hips and the surprising things the world has learned he can do with them tops our list of trendy Internet topics for the week. Hinchcliffe’s cha cha with Sharna Burgess on “Dancing with the Stars” Monday night not only kept them in the competition for another week, it made for fun memes.


Getting those smooth moves down wasn’t easy, according to Hinchcliffe’s Twitter feed. 


In addition to plenty of practice, competing on “Dancing with the Stars” apparently also requires fresh breath. Understandable. It is a full-contact sport.


As their quest for the Mirror Ball Trophy continues, Hinchcliffe and Burgess, known as #TeamStopAndGo, are getting loads of support from the racing community. Three-time Indianapolis 500 winner and #DWTS Season 5 champion Helio Castroneves is helping lead the cheering section.

This week, he missed the show, but tweeted support. 


Celebrating his win on racetracks across the country, Verizon IndyCar Series champion Simon Pagenaud traveled to New York City last week to meet with the media and enjoy dinner with his actor friend Drew Powell – Butch Gilzean on TV’s “Gotham.”


An occupational hazard when you’re an INDYCAR driver and go out in New York City or Los Angeles: Celebrity gossip site TMZ caught up with Pagenaud and what was learned gives us a chuckle.


Indianapolis 500 winner Alexander Rossi’s 25th birthday on Sept. 24 was among the other celebrations in the Verizon IndyCar Series paddock this week. Conor Daly, who is almost always funny in his social media feeds, wished Rossi a happy birthday this way:
