Verizon IndyCar Series driver James Hinchcliffe will join the rest of the Season 23 cast of "Dancing with the Stars" in New York City on Wednesday morning for an appearance on ABC's "Good Morning America."

The cast of 13 celebrities and their professional dance partners will take over the 8:30 a.m. half hour of "GMA" for interviews, casual chats and maybe even a chance to show off a dance move or two that they've learned. Hinchcliffe, driver of the No. 5 Arrow Schmidt Peterson Motorsports Honda in the Verizon IndyCar Series, has been training with his pro dancing partner Sharna Burgess since last week in anticipation of the Season 23 premiere Sept. 12 on ABC.

The four-time race winner has been sandwiching in dance workouts between racing. He finished 18th in Sunday's INDYCAR Grand Prix at The Glen presented by Hitachi after running out of fuel while running second on the final lap. Hinchcliffe and Burgess have been tabbed as #TeamStopAndGo in deference to the words Hinchcliffe jokingly has written on his racing shoes to tell him which foot to use to accelerate and which foot is used to brake.

Other celebrities competing in Season 23 include Olympic gold-medal gymnast Laurie Hernandez, Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte, rapper Vanilla Ice, singer-songwriter Kenny "Babyface" Edmonds and Maureen McCormick from "The Brady Bunch" TV series. The combined results of judges' scoring and fan votes decide which celebrity-professional pairings advance each week. The winner will be crowned and presented the Mirror Ball Trophy on Nov. 22.

Fellow Verizon IndyCar Series driver Helio Castroneves was the "Dancing with the Stars" Season 5 champion in 2007 and returned to dance in an all-stars competition in 2012.
