Following Verizon IndyCar Series practice Aug. 1 for the Honda Indy 200 at Mid-Ohio, Tony Kanaan and his wife, Lauren Bohlander, unwound in the motorcoach lot at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course with some friends for an hour of TV viewing.

The occasion was the premiere of "Garage Squad" on Velocity, which Bohlander co-hosts. Kanaan lent his support and more during filming.

The show focuses on dream car restoration projects, featuring automobiles that collect dust in garages because their owners lack the necessary time, money or mechanical knowledge to jump start their cars back to life.

The show, which airs Fridays, will be appointment viewing in the Kanaan household. Repeats of the first episode are at 2 p.m. (ET) Aug. 3 and 8 and 11 p.m. (ET) Aug. 5.
