BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- Spring at Barber Motorsports Park and the dogwood is blooming along with the heated competition.
In fact, the rolling road course and adjacent Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum that occupy the 830 acres feature 8,000 junipers, 12,000 azaleas, 10,000 crepe myrtles and 826,000 bulbs.IMS photographers Chris Jones, Chris Owens, Bret Kelley, Eric Anderson and Joe Skibinski have chronicled the race weekend at the "Augusta of Motorsport," featuring the Verizon IndyCar Series.
