Since Dario Franchitti took the checkered flag in the Indianapolis 500 on May 27, he has been on a non-stop media tour.

In the following four days, the Target Chip Ganassi Racing driver recapped his third Indianapolis 500 victory with several major news and sports outlets in New York, including FOX & Friends, CNN, Bloomberg TV, Men’s Journal, ESPN, Jim Rome Radio, SiriusXM, MRN and a media trip to Texas Motor Speedway.

He took a break by competing in the Chevrolet Detroit Belle Isle Grand Prix, finishing second to teammate Scott Dixon.

This week, Franchitti made a guest appearance on "The Late Show with David Letterman" on June 4.

On June 6, Franchitti served as a presenter at the Country Music Television Music Awards, which aired on CMT. He joined Jordin Sparks to present the Performance of the Year award to Jason Aldean. Other notable presenters included pro skateboarder Tony Hawk, actress Denise Richards and "Twilight" star Ashley Greene.

He's back on the track this weekend, competing in the Firestone 550 at Texas Motor Speedway. He won one of the doubleheader races last June at the 1.5-mile oval.
