As the NTT INDYCAR SERIES took the green flag on the 2020 season Saturday, June 6 with the Genesys 300, INDYCAR partnered with Clean Harbors to provide infectious disease prevention and decontamination needs to create a safe, healthy environment for INDYCAR employees, teams and drivers at Texas Motor Speedway following a delayed start to the season due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

A Clean Harbors field services crew from Denton, Texas, was on site at TMS on Friday, June 5 and deep-cleaned each NTT INDYCAR SERIES transporter and various other inbound trailers and equipment as they arrived at the racetrack.

Additionally, Clean Harbors, which is North America’s leading provider of environmental and industrial services, played a pivotal role in cleaning the facility before personnel arrived and in keeping the facility sanitized during the day Saturday. The entire NTT INDYCAR SERIES event – practice, qualifying and the 300-mile race – took place in one day, culminated by Scott Dixon’s victory.
