Reigning Indianapolis 500 winner Tony Kanaan took a ceremonial first lap on the 2.439-mile, 14-turn Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course, and was soon joined by 24 other drivers for an Open Test in preparation for the inaugural Grand Prix of Indianapolis on May 10.
