Four-time IZOD IndyCar Series champion and three-time Indianapolis 500 winner Dario Franchitti will hold his first news conference since announcing his retirement from motorsports last month.
Watch it live at 11 a.m. (ET) Dec. 19 on www.indycar.com.
Franchitti, who is tied for eighth on the all-time Indy car victory list and also ranks in the top 10 in poles (33), runner-up finishes (29), top-three finishes (92) and top-five finishes (119), has been rehabilitating injuries suffered in a final-lap incident at Houston in early October.
Franchitti, 40, competed for Target Chip Ganassi Racing the past five seasons in the No. 10 Honda-powered car. Longtime friend and fellow competitor Tony Kanaan will take over the seat for the 2014 IndyCar Series season.
