Who'd like a Sonoma win? Power first to raise hand
AUG 20, 2013
In eight IZOD IndyCar Series races at Sonoma Raceway, Will Power is the only driver to have won more than once. A third victory on the 2.385-mile, 12-turn road course this weekend would be most welcome.
Power, who has won the past three poles at Sonoma in the No. 12 Verizon Team Penske car, is seeking his first victory of the season.

"Sonoma is definitely a good chance for us," said Power, who totaled 14 wins the past three seasons in finishing as the series championship runner-up each year. "Especially the year we've had, I can't wait to get back there. It's a track I've had a lot of success on. Although the competition has definitely heated up this year, we still expect to be running right at the front."
A Team Penske car has won four of the past five races at Sonoma, including Power in 2010 and '11. The 2010 victory came a year after Power suffered a broken back in a practice crash at the track. Watch the highlights of that race below.
