The countdown to the 108th Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge gets closer than ever in episode five of Season 2 of “100 Days to Indy,” premiering at 9 p.m. ET Friday, May 24 on The CW Network.
This exciting episode will feature the Sonsio Grand Prix on Saturday, May 11 on the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course, the kickoff to the Month of May at the Racing Capital of the World. It’s the final race in the 2024 schedule before the Indianapolis 500.
Reigning series champion Alex Palou won the Sonsio Grand Prix, and he will be featured during the one-hour episode.
Also in the spotlight in episode five are six-time NTT INDYCAR SERIES champion Scott Dixon and his family, two-time NTT INDYCAR SERIES champion Will Power and rising star Kyle Kirkwood.
Popular, colorful veteran Conor Daly, an Indianapolis native, also is featured as he makes the mental transition between being a full-time competitor in the series in recent seasons to competing just in the Indianapolis 500 this year with Dreyer & Reinbold Racing.
The six-part unscripted series from Penske Entertainment takes viewers behind the scenes and onto the track with the NTT INDYCAR SERIES drivers as they prepare to compete for racing’s greatest prize: the Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge on Sunday, May 26 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
