Legacy Autosport will have a new driver behind the wheel of its car for the Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship’s only one stop outside of the United States.

Indianapolis’ Zach Holden, who has scored three top-10 finishes in four starts this season, will race for the team on the Streets of Toronto.

"We were forced to make a few changes after Road America and thank Alex Baron for all the hard work and commitment he had to our program to date this season," said team principal Mike Meyer. "Making some changes for Toronto, we welcome Zach Holden to the team and look forward to working with him. Zach was very impressive on the temporary course in St. Petersburg, and I expect him to be the same in Toronto as well.

"It was a late deal to get Zach in the car but since our shop is close to where he lives in Indy, we were able to get a deal in place, a seat poured and him fitted to the car in a matter of a few days. We took extra time at the shop to make sure he was comfortable and everything felt right for him. With no time to waste in Toronto, the goal is to be on pace, right from the very first session."

Holden raced in the first four races of the season and finished a career-best third in the season-opening race at St. Petersburg. He said that his success at St. Pete gives him confidence that he can handle the tight confines of street course racing despite only one 30-minute practice session on the schedule.

"I want to thank all the guys at Legacy Autosport for the opportunity to get back behind the wheel of a USF2000 car," Holden said. "It feels like it has been years since St. Pete and the Indy GP, and I can guarantee that I am ready."
