TEAM INFO

With 18 years of competition in the books, the team led by Michael Andretti has captured four NTT INDYCAR SERIES championships and five Indianapolis 500 victories, including three in the last seven seasons.

Andretti Autosport enters 2021 as the only NTT INDYCAR SERIES team to have won championships in each of the Road to Indy development ladder series, having earned three championships
in Indy Lights Presented by Cooper Tires, one in the Indy Pro 2000 Championship Presented by Cooper Tires (formerly Pro Mazda) and one in the Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship.

Michael Andretti competed for 19 years in CART before competing in the NTT INDYCAR SERIES in 2003. He won more races (42) than any driver in CART history and led 6,702 Indy car laps during his driving career, second only to his father, Mario. He retired from full-time driving following the 2003 Indianapolis 500 to concentrate on team ownership and drove for the final time in the 2006 Indianapolis 500.

Bryan Herta, a four-time Indy car race winner, started his race team as an Indy Lights entry in 2009. It made its first foray into the NTT INDYCAR SERIES in 2010 and won the Indy 500 the following year with Dan Wheldon. Herta serves as the race strategist for his son Colton's race Andretti Autosport entry.
